Christopher
Morgan MBE
Christopher Morgan MBE wrote 'The Invisible Crying Tree' with lifer
Tom Shannon in 1996. It is the true and moving story of an extraordinary
friendship between a farmer and a prisoner, told through their correspondence.
Sales from the book have helped to fund Christopher Morgan's charitable
foundation, the award-winning Shannon Trust, which promotes the development
of literacy in our prisons through peer to peer mentoring. Christopher
Morgan will talk about how the book came to be written and his Trust's
mission to improve the literacy of prisoners.
