Jeremy Lewis - The Greene Family
Jeremy Lewis, biographer, journalist and wit, makes a welcome return to Framlingham to talk about his latest book, Shades of Greene, a portrait of one generation of a family which gave us the Greene King Brewery and the astonishing siblings, Graham Greene (the novelist who wrote Brighton Rock and The Third Man), Hugh Greene, Director General of the BBC in the tempestuous 60's and Elizabeth who turns out to have been a spy! It promises to be an enthralling evening.

"Crownstreet" Folk Band
The four members of Crownstreet have a wealth of experience on the local and national folk scene. They perform a varied repertoire of songs and instrumental pieces on four voices and twelve different instruments. Be prepared for an array of unexpected sounds from the footbass, bandoneon, hammered dulcimer, English bagpipes and desk bells, alongside the more usual guitar, saxophone and flute.
Follow the song stories of fishermen, lost sailors and jilted lovers, and enjoy the lively jigs and polkas in this highly entertaining evening.
